UX Recorder - User Testing For Mobile Web Sites App Reviews

This app is great for Usability Testing and User Experience Design and that is what it’s design to do. It’s not a general screen recorder and other reviewers are unnecessarily angry about that. It’s designed for a niche market — UX testing — and it works very well for that use case. The pricing is reasonably for the small market that it caterers for. I highly recommend this app for UX testers!

Sure the actual app is "free" but to do anything in it will cost you.

This is a horrible experience and led me to believe that this was usable out of the box. There is no way to use this app unless you throw money at it. Downloaded and instantly deleted.

Why this app is ripoff? Simply because if you are testing your website and you are making mistakes or improving or whatever, testing right? - then you are not doing this only one time, right? Beside app behave like non tested product. It is full of glitches. Sad to see this. So, how come this could not be a ripoff? - by that logic this app should be removed from itunes app store. It is one of those apps to target and scams you, period. $59 come on, it is disrespectful to thousands of apps that are much more complex and worth much much more and cost much less. This should not be measured by volume, it is just so awful for this to appear in itunes. Apple please remove this app until author of the app made changes according to complaints and comply to customers demands. I think this complaints apply to customer rights on behalf of protection of Apple customers. I think in general there is a now quite few apps that being out there and it is simply out of what you expect itunes is about. This is not Google Play where all kinda things pop up in paid store. Shame.Thank you.

Clunky UI, with gross colors denoting buttons and other elements (not conforming to iOS 7/8 conventions). Lists that appear to not update when an action is taken, then a slew of Untitled entries appear later. Naggy dialogs repetitively force the same info on you to the point of annoyance. Poor quality web browser, lacking many of the modern HTML5 features added in iOS 8s Safari. Browser performance for complex parallaxing content is bad (worse than Safari), and resulting “high quality” videos are choppier still. I was hoping this app could allow me to record videos of some of my dynamic web design, for later conversion to GIFs for display on Behance. No dice.

Terrible quality, it lets you make a free 30sec recording then makes you buy credits to save the video to camera roll, not worth it!! Junk app SCAM

Its great, but its not really free. I tried to upload my video to camera roll, but it wont work unless I paid to videotape it. Theres lots of restrictions if you cant pay, and its very unfair for people who cant afford it, so I suggest finding a new app.

Why would I get this?! It doesnt even record your screen! Would not recommend, cant you people just make a screen recorder that works for every type of iOS?!? Ive been looking for a screen recorder that works for iOS 9 and theres none!!! Please help me!!

First off, I see a few dumb reviews by users that clearly didnt read the description and thought this app was a screen recorder. This app does what it claims. It records the user browsing web pages. It also can record audio and video (of the user). Pretty decent for testing a user interface on a site your building. Just hand the phone to someone and record the session. Youll not only see what they click and how they interact with the web page, you can hear their running commentary on what they think. And with video recording on, you can see their facial reactions. HOWEVER, the playback frame rate is not great (choppy video), and the graphics used to denote a scroll and click is pretty poor - clearly "programmer art". The cost is kind of crazy too. Free to download, but in app purchase of $60 bucks to unlock the full unlimited version. $1.99 for a single session, $7.99 for 5 sessions 3.5 stars. Rounded up to 4.

Horrible does not record screen at all I hate it let it go burn in a pit of lava!!

Bought unlimited sessions version for $60. A bit pricey for what you get but it does a great job reviewing mobile web. It does not work on apps, however. This is a big detractor. Also, Dropbox integration is something that could use some love. The uploaded video doesnt keep the name of the session, and you have to navigate to the same upload folder from the top level directory every time!

When I bought a signal session it costed $1.99 and I thought that was just a bit pricey. When I was in the middle of recording I on accident exited out, and it stopped recording. It didnt let me finish and it costed more money. I was mad I spent that money on something like this
