UX Recorder is designed for usability professionals who are conducting user testing on mobile Web sites.
It uses the built-in hardware on your iOS device to record on-screen activity, video of the user’s face, and audio. You can easily export screen-in-screen video files for viewing in QuickTime (H.264 .MOV format).

This cant record your games but it will record you on the web so if you want to react to something for YT it works well
Im a UX researcher and Ive been using this app for about a week now, it works exactly as it says it does, the videos are good quality and include useful gesture recording including tap, swipe, scroll, and pinch & zoom. I have a second video recording backup system, but nothing has gone wrong with the app yet in terms of reliably getting video. It also gets video of the participants face without a big intimidating webcam sled setup. Sure it has its own browser but it works with InVision prototypes just fine. And sure it costs a lot, but the unlimited has already paid for itself many times over in terms of usefulness AND ease of use / good UX in the app itself. I think this is the first time Ive ever paid for an app, and it was actually worth it so Im extra glad.
This app is the best recorder in the history of the world!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO FAMOUS UTUBERS LIKE PEWDIEPIE
Just got the app. Tried it a few times with no issues. Watch the initial video to understand the commands and options. I ignored it the first time but couldnt find how to stop the session. Shaking the device or typing "pause " in the url bar will stop the recording. It is so easy to use. Now only if they had it for a computer.....
The video recording of the user is also a plus for researchers. I hadnt seen this option in other services.
I think its great app! You can record screen, voice and video from camera! Supported import video to itunes and dropbox. Really useful for ux testing. I have tested app on iPhone 5, all is good. However its paid app, about $2 for each record session.
Some bad moments
Apart from the bad interface (how do you stop a recording?) and ugly colors this thing is a total waste of time. After recording 30 seconds videos, I was not able to watch them. "The file might be corrupted". So basically this piece of crap cannot play the files that it recorded itself. This is an absolute joke. Run away from this piece of crap.
You really only have 30s for free just to test the app. Its not free at all.
Bad interface to record video and the 30s free video rendered me a black screen video. So doesnt work at all.
Get away!
The idea is quite good, but the performance of the app is unusable slow, even on the newest and most powerful iPad.
Conclusion: dont buy
The worst f***ing app ever to be created.

It only records for like 30 secs then its done also you can only record to go on a website!!
spent $3 and the video stopped recording at 2 seconds and I couldnt make another video... scam dont buy
